I hold a PhD in Romance philology from the University of Siena; after a Post-Doc at the Istituto Italiano di Scienze Umane in Florence and a research fellowship at the IUSS of Pavia I became researcher, then associate professor at the University of Milan. My research in the fields of medieval Iberian, Oitanic and Italian literature covers prose and verse narrative, vernacular encyclopaedias, didactic poetry and historiography, with a focus on the tradition and irradiation of texts.
