On 8 July 2025, within the framework of the International Medieval Congress held in Leeds (UK), Stefano Resconi delivered a paper entitled The Various Meanings of Chess in Medieval Romance Texts: A Comparative Survey. The presentation focused on the identification and description of the various types of miscellaneous manuscripts containing medieval Romance chess-related texts.
