At the Research Day of the Department of Literary Studies, Philology and Linguistics at the University of Milan, Matteo Cesena and Marta Milazzo presented the outcomes of the Mermaid research project. Their talk focused on the criteria for identifying salient dominants, which led to the creation of a restricted corpus that will later undergo cataloguing. As a case study, they discussed the manuscript Cambridge, Trinity College Library, B.14.40, illustrating the methodological approach and future directions of their work.
