Between Romance and Encyclopedia: the ms. BnF, fr. 1669

Withing the 14th triennial conference of the Società italiana di Filologia Romanza (SIFR), “La Filologia Romanza tra manoscritti e testi” (Milan, October 1-4, 2024), Matteo Cesena presented a paper dedicated to the manuscript Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, fr. 1669. In his presentation, he sought to explore the composite nature of the codex, which contains both Gui de Warwick and Image du Monde, with the aim of understanding the possible reasons, perhaps educational, for this juxtaposition.
